Three musicians lose themselves in sound, eyes closed, listening inward. As the music rises, the music begin to break apart into blocks of gold, amber and coral, as if the melody itself were turning into light.
I wanted to paint what I imagine feels like to be inside a piece of music: the moment whe the player, the instrument and the sound become one. The figures stayed grounded in deep blues, while the palette knife work lets everything around them shimmer and fall away.
Materials + Care
All artworks are created using high quality artist grade mediums and finished with a protective varnish.
Care should be taken to keep the painting away from florescent lighting, direct sunlight, and from areas of high humidity, and at a room temperature 18-23ºC.
